Baku Bears Weekly update 14th August

14 Aug

Hello Hello
The transformation of our club continues, particularly the product on the park.
Last week saw the start of the league season where we overcame a stubborn St Mirren side winning 3 -1 with a double from Lee Wallace and 1 from Dean Shields.

This weekend sees us return to Alloa’s plastic pitch where we struggled last season. It was good to see that Mark Warburton took the team to train on the pitch earlier this week in preparation.
The game is on Sunday with a 4.30pm kick off Baku Time, game as always will be shown in the Bear Pit.

Rangers yesterday confirmed the season loan signings of 19 year old Nathan Oduwa, an attacker and Dominic Ball, a defender, from Spurs.
Overnight reports are showing that Scott Allan may well be moving from Hibs to ‘them’ with official announcement expected today.

The Keys and Gray event now only has approx. 30 seats available so if you haven’t indicated your going please do so asap. Attached is a poster if anyone wants to display at your work.

Colin
